The 100 Most Spiritually Significant Films

The online community Arts & Faith (which focuses on Christianity in art) has put together a list of what they consider to be the 100 most Spiritually Significant Films of all time.

The list is not definitive as they update it each year, but it is a great resource for those seeking out films which have spiritual meaning. The list does includes "Christian" Films, such as "The Passion of the Christ," but most of them are secular pictures - such as "Hotel Rwanda" and P.T. Anderson's "Magnolia" - which raise issues which should be important to Christians.

The list has a good mix of mainstream films (e.g. "Millions","Dead Man Walking"), lesser known gems ("The Straight Story") and foreign films (Kurusawa's "Ikiru", Kieslowski's "Decalogue").

I encourage you to take a look at the list, check out a few of the films for yourself and then come back here to post any comments which you may have.
