The Most Powerful Men in Hollywood

I wrote an article a few months ago about the recent shakeup at the Mouse House. The main point of the article was just what a good thing it is for the future of animation that John Lasseter and Steve Jobs have gained so much creative control at Disney.

So I was excited and encouraged to see Premiere Magazine's annual Power List in which they rank the most powerful individuals in Hollywood. The number one spot this year is shared by none other than Jobs and Lasseter. Having two people who love characters and story more than they love making money at the top of the Hollywood foodchain is a wonderful change, which I hope will pay off big both for them and for us as discerning filmgoers.
